Gateway Cities Council of Governments Complete Street Initiative
Current Status of Complete Streets Projects:
The COG began the Atlantic Corridor in September of 2019. The project is ongoing and in process. Work on the Florence Corridor began January 2020 and is also progressing.
The COG has partially funded the highest priority Complete Streets projects through an earmark swap to Prop C funds. The projects are scheduled to be completed in the upcoming 1-3 years. Those projects include:
- Imperial Hwy
- Telegraph Road
- Alondra Boulevard
- Slauson Avenue
- Long Beach Boulevard
- Florence Avenue
