The I-710 Livability Initiative is being led by the Gateway Cities Council of Governments (GCCOG) and Metro, it includes planning efforts for: improving transportation options, LA River/watershed management, streetscape enhancements, parks/open space, public art, and health. In support of the GCCOG’s Initiative, Metro applied for and received a $500,000 Caltrans Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant to complete a plan for Complete Streets and Active Transportation improvements within the I-710 Corridor.
