Since the mid-1960s, high-speed rail projects have proliferated in Japan, Europe, China, and many other parts of the world.

In the US, not so much. In part because of our love affair with the automobile, we’ve missed out on some of the benefits of high-speed rail. (More about those benefits at .)

But today that’s (ahem) rapidly changing as federal and local governments collaborate on building new high-speed infrastructure. southeastern Los Angeles County is engaged in this work. Learn more about our projects here: .
