The Model City of Commerce

Residents incorporated the City of Commerce, California half a century ago to avoid tax annexation form neighboring cities. They created their own “Model City” with great amenities for residents and a business-friendly environment.
Commerce has a great, small city feel, but is conveniently located just six miles from downtown Los Angeles. It features a Metrolink Train Station, which makes commuting easy. Its industrial sites have been successfully revitalized in recent years for high tech, office, warehouse and retail use.
The city has outstanding recreational opportunities. It has 44 acres of parks, six recreation centers and an aquatic complex. It also operates a year-round family and youth camp on nearby Lake Arrowhead.
