Transportation
Transportation is the COG’s core policy priority and was the key reason for the COG to be formed in the mid-1990’s: so that cities could advocate with one voice for significant transportation infrastructure investments in Southeast Los Angeles County. Over the years, the COG has worked with Metro, Caltrans, state and federal legislators to seek priority for several highway and transit projects that will address transportation needs in the region.
