Executive Director Opening: Gateway Cities Council of Governments « Back to Search Results

The Gateway Cities Council of Governments (GCCOG) is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) comprised of 27 cities in the South East Region of Los Angeles County with the primary mission being Transportation, Air Quality, Housing and Economic Development. The GCCOG is governed by a Board of Directors with elected representation from each of the 27 participating cities, the Mayor of Long Beach, representation from three of the County Board of Supervisors’ offices and a Commissioner from the Port of Long Beach. For each program/project and initiative, the COG is first: A Forum, second: A Planner, Third: A Consensus Builder, Fourth: An Advocate.
